How to book an appointments and what to expect on your first day of counseling

Check out our counselors where you can filter by client age, issue, insurance and location.

Then, complete the New Client Questionnaire to begin the process of connecting with a counselor.

Please note: If you require assistance with filling out your Intake Paperwork, please inform us.


We do not take these insurances: PacificSource Community Solutions/PacificSource OHP, Tri-Care/VA, primary Medicare

Thank you for submitting an inquiry with NAWC! You may email intake@northalbanywellnesscenter.com or call the intake coordinator directly at (541) 497-8571. for the status of your submission. Please continue to look for mental health providers in case you’re able to schedule elsewhere sooner. PsychologyToday.com can be a helpful resource.


What to expect for counseling

Secure Client Portal

After booking your appointment with an Intake Coordinator, complete the intake ‘paperwork’ through our Secure Client Portal 24-48 hours before your first appointment (an invitation is emailed to you).

Parking

North Albany office: Park to the left or right of the front door. Please don’t park in the spots marked ‘Reserved.’

Downtown Albany office: Park in our parking lot or on the street.

Reception

Have a seat in the lobby, and your counselor will come and greet you at the time of your appointment.

The First Session

In the first session we will go over your intake paperwork you filled out online. We will discuss some basic background information, your mental health history and goals for counseling.
